Linda Mihalick

Linda Mihalick leads the Global Digital Retailing Research Center for the University of North Texas and serves on the Merchandising and Digital Retailing faculty. Ms. Mihalick is a retail executive leader with an extensive background creating and growing store, digital and ecommerce businesses, actively driving revenues and bottom line profits. She honed her business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit at Fortune 100 and 500 retail companies as well as several eCommerce start-up and turnaround engagements. Her expertise has focused in developing, executing and managing end-to-end cross-channel strategies including website conversion and search, content management, web analytics, website design, SEO / SEM, web product taxonomy and merchandising, digital and traditional marketing including email, product development, creative, social media, fulfillment and customer service operations. Previously, she was VP eCommerce and Marketing for the Army, Air Force Exchange Service, VP eCommerce and Customer Service for Bailey Banks & Biddle, Corporate DMM for Dillard’s, VP Merchandising for Bassett Furniture Direct and VP for ( She was honored with The Ohio State University 2017 Career Achievement Award and the AAFES Chief of Staff Extraordinary Achievement Award, the highest honor. Linda is active in addressing the needs of underserved families and children as a Board of Directors member of Vickery Place Trading Co. and former board member of the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center League. She also serves as a member of the Board of Governors for the College of Merchandising at UNT, holds a B.S. from The Ohio State University and an M.S. from the University of North Texas.
